QFTL's indigenous Kavach system secures a major INR 978.60 crore contract from Indian Railways for installation in 1200 Locomotives.
Quadrant Future Tek Limited (QFTL) has been awarded a significant contract by Indian
Railways and Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) to install and commission the Kavach
system on 1,200 locomotives. This transformative indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP)
system is designed to enhance safety, reduce human error, and optimize train operations.
It solidifies our position as a leader in railway safety solutions. This project underscores our
commitment to driving innovation and supporting the modernization of India’s railway network.
We are honored to contribute to India’s goal of self-sufficiency in railway technology. The
installation of the Kavach system will be carried out in phases over the next year, ensuring
